Privacy Policy

Information we use

When a bid is placed, Stripe processes payment details and provides Anybid the payer email and payment status needed to confirm the bid, send receipts, apply Bid Credit, and prevent fraud. We do not receive card numbers.

Visits and analytics

Outbound visits are counted using a daily, salted one-way hash of network and browser signals. Anybid does not store the raw IP address for this metric. Product analytics may be processed by PostHog according to its configuration.

Emails

We send transactional notices about bids, outbids, Bid Credit, and selected click reports. Each optional outbid or report email includes an unsubscribe link.

Retention and requests

We retain payment and listing records as needed for operations, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations. For privacy requests, email bids@anybid.lol.
